When you join HG Kids and become another one of our many Educators across the country, you are able to access our CRAFT programme (Caregivers Responsibilities As First Teachers) and it's an all-encompassing training programme with your career development and welfare at heart.

Why we created the CRAFT Programme

When you provide care to a preschooler at home and you register with us, then you are making a commitment to help educate children and develop their learning.

While this might seem daunting on the surface, it really isn't, provided that you look for learning opportunities within the home - things like helping a child count their fingers and toes, helping them with their colour recognition etc. The key is to be able to identify the learning opportunities and to make the most of them!

Our easy to use CRAFT Programme is our way of sharing our years of training, practical experience, learning ideas and teaching techniques with you. It's not designed to monitor you, instead it's all about sharing great and practical ideas, so that you can identify learning opportunities as they arise.

The CRAFT Programme focuses on your welfare, with valuable ideas and information on creating a positive work environment. We believe that if you're happy in your work, then the children will be happy in your care.
