Bronwen Evans

Hi I’m Bronwen; I am the newest member of the HGK team. I have spent the last two years studying a Diploma in Tourism: Major Event Management at the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic, and worked at the Tauranga i-SITE Visitor Centre during and since my study. I live in Tauranga on an Avocado orchard with my wonderful partner Mike, his two children Tayla and Kaleb who are both 10yrs old, our two dogs Koko and Mist and my beautiful cat Fatty.
Before living in Tauranga I moved back to Rotorua where I grew up, for 6mths, after coming back from living and working in the UK and Europe for the past 8years.
Working at HGK is a change for me from the tourism, hospitality and retail industries that I have previously worked in, but as soon as I saw the position advertised and checked out the HGK website I was hooked. Since meeting everyone here at head office and dealing with the coordinators, educators and nannies who are all so nice, I have instantly felt warmed and welcomed. So far it has been full on but I am really enjoying it.
