Mihaela Enache

Kia ora !

I am Mihaela Enache, Home Grown Kids coordinator for the North Shore area.

I am a fully registered teacher, with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from New Zealand Tertiary College and a Bachelor of Arts degree (NZQA assessed).

During my 17 year teaching career, I have worked in childcare centres, kindergartens and primary schools. I have extensive experience working with children and families/whanau in different educational and multicultural systems, and children with special needs. I believe that the early childhood years are paramount in the development of a holistic person. The philosophy and practices of Home Grown Kids support educators to give children the best start in life, to become confident and competent learners and adults.

I am married and have two sons. I love spending time with my family. Among my hobbies are: Traveling, reading, writing, music, dancing, photography. I currently study for the Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Leadership at Auckland University.
