Le'a Talbot

Hi, My name is Le'a Talbot and I am one of two Home Grown Kids Coordinator for the Nelson/Marlborough region.

 

I have a Diploma in Teaching E.C.E  and full teacher registration.

My experience is Kindergarten based, where I have  worked in both teacher and head teacher positions.

 

I have two children, a five year old boy and a 28 month old girl.  Being a parent is the most rewarding and challenging job I have ever had (I used to be a Firefighter, and drove the fire truck!). There is never a dull moment at our house and I love it that way.

 

My family and I relocated to Nelson in February 2008 from the South Waikato.

 

My job is to support Nannies and Home based Educators with their very important role of educating the children in their care.
