Hi, I’m Jackie and I am the Coordinator in the Bay of Plenty area. I visit Nannies, Home Educators, children and their families from Whitianga through the BOP to Ohope, and across to Rotorua and down into the Taupo region.

I have been involved in Early Childhood education for over 20 years, including over 10 years in full-time childcare. During that time I acquired a Diploma of Teaching (ECE). My passion for early childhood education started when I had my own children (2) and enrolled them at Playcentre. Though my children have now grown much taller than I and are in control of their own lives, I still love working with infants, toddlers and young children. I really enjoy the more personal and less stressed environment of in-home childcare for children and their families.

I value getting to know the children, families and their nanny/ educator, to share our knowledge and ideas, working together to provide the best possible opportunities and learning experiences for each child.
