Please note that these Playgroups and Outings are open to all H.G.K children, educators, nannies and families irrespective of the area that you are in. You are welcome to attend any of these- please let your coordinator know if you wish to attend.

Hillside Playgroup Hillside Community Church, 75 Felton Matthew Ave Glen Innes. From 10am – 12pm Tuesday 7th February Tuesday 20th March It's great to see so many of you at playgroup and we hope to see many more of you attending this term. Please bring a snack and drink for the children in your care for both playgroups. Adult’s morning tea is provided.	Pre-school play Tuesday 31st January Devonport, North Shore. 10am Windsor Reserve, King Edward Parade, Devonport. Come and join us and play on equipment especially set up for pre- schoolers by the Nth Shore(now Auckland) Council. Please bring your own morning tea and drinks, hat, sunscreen and something to sit on.
Mt Roskill Playgroup Plunket rooms, 50 Buckley Rd, Three Kings/Mt Roskill 10am – 12pm Tuesday 14th February Tuesday 28th February Tuesday 13th March Tuesday 27th March This is a fabulous new venue with a great outdoor area, come along and check it out!! Please note there is plenty of roadside parking available as there is no playgroup parking on the premises. Thank you	Also on the same day Tuesday 31st January- Ferry trip to Devonport for those over the South of the bridge. City side - Meet at Princes Wharf ferry terminal at 9.45am for a 10am departure - please be punctual as we will be unable to wait for latecomers. Cost is $11.00 per adult all children under 5 are free over 5’s are $5.80 - HGK will subsidise some of the cost. Parking in the downtown carpark or alternatively on the wharf or for those who can get organised earlier you could consider parking at Orakei train station and catching the train into the city - allow enough time for your children to walk across from Britomart to the ferry terminal. Come along for a trip across the water to meet the nannies, educators, coordinators and children from the North Shore for a get together and play morning in Devonport run by the council. Bring your hats, sunblock, morning tea, rug etc Please rsvp your coordinator if attending. If wet this trip will be cancelled.
West Auckland Playgroup Glen Eden Play Centre, 4 Levy Rd, Glen Eden Off Glendale Rd. 10am – 12pm Thursday 9th February Thursday 23rd February Thursday 8th March Thursday 22nd March Morning tea is available for adults. Please bring morning tea and a drink for the children in your care. Be great to see you there!	Pre-school art morning, Takapuna, North Shore. Wednesday 8th February- 10am Lake House Arts Centre, 37 Fred Thomas Drive, Takapuna Come along to pre- school play with a difference to this free art morning for the children. The usual outdoor toys will also be available. Bring morning tea, drinks, hats, sunscreen.
Windy Ridge Playcentre 21A Tamahere Dr, 10am – 12pm Fortnightly on Thursdays starting: Thursday 2nd February Thursday 16th February Thursday 1st March Thursday 15th March Thursday 29th March We are very fortunate to start our North Shore playgroup in a new location. The centre provides a very ample outside area, with a sandpit and a well resourced playground. The inside is well equipped as well, with art area, dramatic play corner, puzzles, books, dress-ups etc. Please bring morning tea for children. Biscuits and drinks will be provided for adults. Very important! The centre has a "no nut" policy, which means that no nuts are to be packed in children's lunchboxes at any one time. Come along and enjoy this summer in a great location!	Pre-school play morning Monday 20th February Castor Bay Beach Reserve The Esplanade (off Beach Rd), Castor Bay Time: Anytime between 10.30am and 12.30 pm. Bring; Hats, sunscreen, togs, towel, beach toys, drinks and a snack. Cost: free
	Wheels day at Western Springs Wednesday 22nd February Meet at 10am sharp At the Auckland Zoo car park – the Western Springs playground end. Come and join us for a ride or scoot or walk around the lake and remember to bring some bread to feed the ducks and eels. We will finish with morning tea and a play at the playground. This is always a fun morning at the lake. We hope to see you there! Please bring: Sunhats, sunblock, something with wheels to ride or scoot or push around the lake, morning tea and a drink. 	Normanton Reserve, Glenfield. Tues 6th March Normanton Ave ( off Weldene Rd and off Diana Drive) Glenfield. Time: Any time between 10am and 12 pm. Cost: Free Bring: sunscreen, sunhat, drinks and snacks. Also ride on toys are great for this venue so bring your bike, trike, scooter etc.
	Butterfly Creek Thursday 8th March Meet 10am sharp just outside the front doors. Cost: Children 3yrs and over $7 each Adults: $16 each Please bring the correct money as Coordinators don’t carry change and Butterfly Creek request we make one payment for everyone, so they won’t be able to give change either. Please see your coordinator if you have a pass you would like to use. Come along for a morning exploring the Butterfly house, buttermilk farm and the crocodiles too. The entry price also entitles your child to one train ride. Children are able to bring their morning tea and a drink, however it is Butterfly Creek policy that they require adults to purchase their food from the café. Please remember to bring sunhats, sunblock, and morning tea and a drink for the children in your care. Please rsvp to your Coordinator if you are attending. Thanks!
	Kell Park Wednesday 21st March Albany Village (off Library lane) Come and join us and play with the equipment set up especially for preschoolers at Kell Park. Bring your hats, sunblock, morning tea, rug etc
	Easter Egg Hunt HGK’s annual Easter Egg Hunt date for this year is: Tuesday 3rd April Rain date: Thursday 5th April. Venue: Coyle Park at 10am Details and flyer to follow.
