If you have a cool picture of your Home Grown Kid, send it to us and we will put it up here! 4/2/10 Northland Xmas Party     Some of our Northland HG Kids enjoying Kerri's puppet and entertainment show for their Xmas Party. 22/12/09 The Rotorua Xmas Party 09 Face painting, Sun A concert, and bouncy castle fun at Educator Toni's place!              22/12/09 The Tauranga Xmas Party 09 All the kids as you can see had a great party at Lollipops!        21/12/09  Dear HGK Staff, Thank you all so much for all your help and support over the past busy year, we really appreciate itSarah & Phillip King Anna and her triplet brothers Cooper, Rory & Aidan! 21/12/09 A great day at the Auckland Xmas Party – the children all waiting for Santa to give them their presents and we had some gorgeous butterflies and fierce tigers there too care of our facepainter on the day!          21/12/09 The Canterbury HGK Christmas party was held at the Belfast play centre. The children sang us some wonderful Christmas songs they had been learning and practicing with their educators and nannies. This was followed by a yummy shared morning tea. The high light of the morning was Santa's visit and rides on the ponies. (More Pics coming...)    21/12/09 The Wellington Christmas Outing to Story Place; where we listened to Christmas Stories and made a Pukeko decoration. We also had a fun decoration treasure hunt and decorated the Christmas tree.      Northern Wellington Xmas Party We made Christmas cards and the children enjoyed the glitter and glue. Santa dropped by and brought everyone one a little present - unfortunately Lisa was out of the room and missed him! The morning began with a story of ‘Dear Zoo’ followed by a game of pass the parcel. Maiya has her turn at unwrapping the parcel; she finds a little parcel inside that contains an animal.   Violet chose to be a dog, Matty asked to be ‘Spider Man’ looking cool Violet. 16/12/09   "I'm blowing everyone some Christmas bubbles" said Olivia from Christchurch 7/12/09 Outdoor Play at Petra's- One of our Educators on Waiheke Island. Petra has a great garden for outdoor play which is full of exciting things for the children to explore. They enjoy climbing trees, riding bikes, looking at insects and plants. There are also lots of nooks and crannys which can be used for imaginative play and discovery as you can see.         3/12/09   Two HG Kids from the Waikato! Today we went on an outing to The Jester House. We explored in the garden. We found a hut made out of sticks and a concrete tiger. We had our morning tea together and then we played in the playground. The playground had its own sand pit with a ride-on digger (We had to take turns). Then we went to feed the eels.We fed the eels minced up meat on long sticks. They were very hungry and they slid out of the water to get the meat!        19/11/09 Lollypop Making Day! What a fabulous day we had, the children really enjoyed the process of watching the man make the lollipops. After the candy was made the children had a turn at making their own lollipops with great success as you can see!! |
